Sports and Exercising


Instructions for your blog

For this first blog, you will write about sports and how important are they for our health.  Answer the two following questions with your own opinion and using a paragraph format.
  1. Which sports do you like to play? How are they practiced? Mention and explain 2 of them.
  2. What is the importance of playing sports or doing exercise? Talk about the benefits of exercising for our body.

  1. My two favorite sports are swimming and gymnastics!
    Nowadays I don´t have the opportunity to perform this sports but I think that the swimming is one perfect exercise to burn calories and lose fat, also in this sport you need all your body and need much moving, be in moving it´s important!
    I love the gymnastic too! I want to can make those routines that gymnasts perform.
    But I think that´s not very important to make this exercises, only for have a perfect body, it is better make this exercises for have one really good health and be a active person that can lead to a healthy life.
    However I don´t love just this two… I enjoy every sport but in this moment I have little time ´cause of the high school but I hope that latter, I’m going to perform more exercises..

  2. My favorite sports are badminton and walking.
    This year I did not had time to practice them as much as the year before, I had more time.

    Badminton is fun because you can meet new people with those who you can practice, it's easy and tired both because it keeps coming from one side to another in search of the moth does not touch the ground.

    Other sport where you can super-easy to lose weight, doing something know and do every day is walking, you can practice walking to your school or simply a walk in your neighborhood, walking your dog, in short as you want.

    Exercise is very important as keep your body fit, eliminating your body fat, eliminates toxins from the body and can make the sport that you like and helps you stay healthy, because it strengthens your heart, your muscles, so you get flexibility, endurance, strength, prevents diseases like cancer, diabetes, obesity, among others.

    So do exercise at least 3 times a week for good health and good energy.

  3. The sports that I like are volleyball and running.
    The volleyball is very easy to practice: are 6 people per team and the ball must be thrown over the net if the ball touches the ground next to the opposing team is ready for the team that launched and if the ball touches the mesh when the team makes the serve is ready for the other team.
    This game is easy but you must know well the rules.
    Running is a sport that does not need much skill or rules, with some enthusiasm, clothing, and discipline can be practiced anywhere. The only thing beginners should keep in mind is that when you start this sport should start with 15 minutes, after 25 minutes, so on to earn a good physical condition and not straining the body.

    Playing sports is very important, not only came to have a good body, but rather reduces the chances that we have an illness and makes us feel more energetic every day, wanting to live and revitalized.
    We note that exercising not only going to be healthy, we also have to have a diet valanced

My favorite sport is to do weights and biking, lifting weights is recommended to go to a gym and have a coach, along with not making weight every day but do one day, one not, and one another if not for muscles are not mousy and not have sprains or injuries that may harm the body. This exercise is very good and healthy for the body because it makes the muscles stronger and releases much wing mind of stress.
    Must be balanced, one exes can be harmful to the body and mind (the tiredness).
    Bicycling is very easy, and healthy just need a bike in good condition and have brakes, also security is needed (helmet, knee).
    The importance of exercise is to keep the body fit and mind as well as keeping away from many diseases and drugs.
    Some benefits of exercise are the development of body and mind healthy and strong, plus it keeps us away from cancer and many diseases.

  5. The two sports I like to practice are walking and spinning.

    Walking is a very simple sport. You can go walk in every hour of the day. I love to walk because if you walk alone you can relax and enjoy the view, and also you can enjoy walks with a friend or with a relative.

    The spinning is another sport that I really like. These days I don’t have a lot of time to practice it but I do spinning always that I have time. Spinning is a good sport for lose weight and tone your body if you know how to practice it. It’s important to do spinning thirty to forty minutes only.

    Doing exercises and sports is really good for your health and it help you to have a great body too. Also sports make you feel better with yourself.

  6. I like much all sports, but my favorites are swimming and running.

    Swimming is the sport that I like because you can relax in the pool while doing exercise, you can practice with your friends or just you, one hour, two times a week. I love this sport because I enjoy and lose weight.

    Running is the other sport that I practice, in this sport you can do it anywhere you like, I practice every Saturday morning with my cousin, I like it because I lose weight while listening to music and I can relax my body and my mind.

    Exercises are good because irrigate our veins, strengthens our heart and bones , purifies the skin and cholesterol levels.

  7. My favorite sports are basketball and walking.
    Basketball is a sport that is practiced in two teams of 5 players per team, the idea is to score as many points as possible in a ring called a basket, try to get it running and pushing the ball with one hand on the floor.
    Walking is an easy exercise to perform can be short or long walks at a slow or fast.
    It is important to have some kind of sport or exercise plus it helps to tone the body also helps to have more energy, reduce stress, among others. When performing any type of sport or exercise is going to be in good health and can have more confidence in you.

  8. The sports that I would like to practice are cheerleading, volleyball, gymnastics, swimming and surfing. Now I only practice cheerleading and I love dancing. I think all the sports are so good for our health, but of the sports that I practice, for me the best is cheerleading because this combine several exercises to strengthen legs, arms, buttocks and stomach. Also requires a lot of discipline, good nutrition , good physical condition, have a positive attitude and cheerful, have to know working with a team, learn something new every day for the team to go ahead and be better in every training,in this sport we have to do many facial expressions and something very importante is have lot of energy.
    And I heard say of the people, that the dancing is one of the best exercise,because you lose weight when you sweat in the moment that you start to move of the rhythm at music, and for this you have to use the energy in your legs, hips, arms, shoulders, waist, in general around the body. I love dancing the tropical music.
    Do exercises or practice some sport is very important for everyone because it keeps our physical condition, food, mental health, and this helps us now and in the future our health.

  9. -Well I like almost all the sports; I like surfing, soccer, baseball, basketball, football… but my favorite two are surfing and basketball.Surfing is a sport which consists of sliding over the waves standing on a table, directing it through one or more fins located at the rear of the table, also you have to be very balanced and have a lot of strength in the legs; in Australia this is a very common sport. Basketball is practiced professionally in an indoor court. In which there are two teams. Each team have five players, although there are several alternates, who are entering in the game, as the game goes; the central idea is to score points by making entering a ball into a basket. Each team has a basket in the central end of the court.
    -Doing exercise is very good for our body, it’s a funny way to keep ourselves healthy, when we are doing exercise all our body works together, we keep in shape and also we feel better with ourselves; if you play sports and also you have a good diet; you will be a healthy person and you will be happy with your body; it is the perfect combination.

  10. Well, any sport or exercise is good if we talk about health... For exemple, I love the sports, I like soccer and I am the goalkeeper of the school team. for my soccer is funny and I think you need training... No too many things to say because soccer is easy. And also, I am cheerleader and I can to say is the most beautiful sport... For the cheerleading you need to have a good spirit for cheer the people; also, will, eager to learn, technique, strength, coordination, commitment, responsibility, flexibility and a positive vision... You need to train too much because this is a difficult sport but too amazing! I train 3 days for week, at least 7 hours; we run, we make jumpings, push ups, gimnastics, jumps and stunds... Not care which sport you practice but it is important to remember.... SPORT IS HEALTH!!!!

  11. I don’t usually do sports but I do like them.
    I would say that my favorite sports would be running or jogging and yoga or probably tennis although I haven’t practiced it much.
    All this sports are very interesting and very good for our health.
    Yoga is an exercise that uses slow movements and stretching. It is good for increasing flexibility and balance. It is also good for relieving stress and relaxing also yoga is used as a meditation technique. I personally really like it! You feel very good when you’re finished but it takes practice to get to the point where you can realize all the movements and positions.
    Also I like Jogging, it is an excellent method of staying healthy, all you have to do is take one hour or two to realize this activity and it can be done alone or with your friends, outdoors or on a treadmill. It is really important to warm-up before jogging to prevent injuries.

    Exercise is really an important part of our lives, without it we wouldn't have energy for nothing at all and we would in a terrible shape. But when you practice sports you stay fit, healthy, you get strength,and also you are more happy and relaxed in a funny and active way.

  12. Nowadays our society is very unhealthy because people are not interesting in practice of sports. If you want to be healthy is almost an obligation to practice sports. They help you to put away your stress and relax your mind. Scientists know that the practice of sports produces benefits for your body. I love to practice soccer, this sport is played by teams of eleven players in an appropriate field. The game needs 3 referees and you have to use uniform including shin guards. I practice soccer four or five times a week. I would like practice more times because I love it.
    Another sport that I like is Ping-Pong. This sport is played in an appropriate table and you have to use paddles. Ping-Pong is an sport for 2 players and it is very exciting.
    I think any sport is GOOD for you.

  13. To me like play a lot of diferents sports but my favorits are: Ping-pong, boxing, cycling, soccer, basketball and swimming....
    Now i'm going toexplain you the boxing and the ping-pong.
    Ok start with the boxing:
    Is a contact sport where two opponents using only his fists fight gloves, beating his opponent from the waist up in a ring specially designed for this purpose,
    in a few fight sequences called rounds and according to precise rules, which regulates weight categories and duration of the meeting, among others.
    And now the ping-pong:
    Table tennis, also known as ping-pong, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight, hollow ball back and forth using table tennis rackets. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Except for the initial serve, players must allow a ball played toward them only one bounce on their side of the table and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side. Points are scored when a player fails to return the ball within the rules. Play is fast and demands quick reactions.

    The most important benefits of do exercise or play any sport is that you are healthy and also this help to don't have or prevent alot of diseases..............

  14. My favorite sport is basketball. Basketball is played in teams of five people and positions are point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward and center. The playing time is divided into four periods of twelve minutes each.

    Another sport I like is soccer. A soccer team has eleven players are divided into front, midfielders, defenders and a goalkeeper.
    The total time of a soccer game is ninety minutes are divided into two forty-five times each.

    The importance of good physical activity is that this is necessary for a healthy body and mind. Some benefits of exercise is that it gives the body strength and agility, also helps to relax and have a good physical condition.

  15. Well, first I'm not good doing exercise, but I like some sports like swimming, basketball and dancing (if included as a sport). My two favorite sports are: swimming and dancing.
    Swimming is a sport very good for our health and is a good exercise, swimming is normally practiced in a pool but are people who practice this in the sea, in rivers, in lakes and in natural pools. And swimming is move arms and legs coordinated and to practice it requires a swimming suit and a swimming cap.
    And other sport that I love is the dance. Dance is a sport very easy to do because no matter how you do it, because you just move how you want to move, all you do is move all your body with rhythm and enjoy it, and also feel the rhythm and energy in the body. To practice the dance you need music, energy, friends and good dispocion, well you can do it alone or with your friends, but I
    personally like it with my friends, and you not need any type of clothing because you can do with any type of clothing.
    Playing sports is very good for our health because it helps us to prevent differents diseases, and this with good nutrition we will be healthy and in good physical condition, and also helps to have a good physique.

  16. I liked to play swimming, volleyball, basketball, cardio dance, aerobics, football, and walking. Well, I really don’t practiced many sports because I don’t have free time as others years, but when I have time I love walking, swimming, and cardio dance, these are my favorite sports.

    Cardio dance is do exercise with music, it’s funny, burn it many calories, takes one hour the days you want or can. The music can be whatever you want, some examples are reggaeton, salsa, merengue, and any kind of music.
    Walking is the sport more practiced by persons that don’t have time to go to the gym, or the persons that don’t like do sport. Walking is practiced alone or with our friends, you can walk in any place at any hour of the day, the time you want.

    The importance of doing exercise is you can feel better with your body and your health, to keep in good conditions the organs, the articulations the muscles…
    Also the exercise prevents us from diseases, with exercise you feel more relaxed and helps to sleep better. And the last thing more important is to have a balanced diet when we doing exercises

  17. I love sports so i practice almost every sport and i`m pretty good at it but I specially love: soccer and dance.
    Soccer: is a sport played between two teams of eleven players with a spherical ball, the game is played on a rectangular field of grass, with a goal in the middle of each of the short ends. The object of the game is to score by driving the ball into the opposing goal. In general play, the goalkeepers are the only players allowed to touch the ball with their hands or arms, while the field players typically use their feet to kick the ball into position.
    Dance: is an art form that generally refers to movement of the body, usually rhythmic and to music, used as a form of expression, social interaction or presented in a spiritual or performance setting. I love to dance and im pretty good at it because when I was in sixth grade I was in a dance school call Merecumbe and I was ther for almost a year.
    To do Exercise Is so much important because you can be healthy and is a great form of expression of your feelings and also is relaxing to practice sports but you must love the sport to enjoy it so do exercise and do not stay at home watching TV Get out of the house and what ever you want and you`ll feel much better.

  18. I like to play soccer and swim. I practice soccer three times a week,tuesdays, saturdays and fridays. I swim every saturday in the morning, after I play pool and then play soccer.
    To practice soccer I need speed and hability in my feet, also ¨soccer shoes¨ and to practice swim you need strenth in your arms and legs.

    To exercise is very important because it makes us healthiers and it gives us longer life. It keeps us strenthful and helps us to live life healthy and you don´t need to go to the hospital many times.
    If you do exercise you will feel better and happy with yourself.

    First my favorite two sports are futbol and swimming,I love this two sports. Futbol are practice in a soccer field with a ball, Swimming are practice in a poll and you move your arms and legs and all your body with coordinated. This sports are good for the health because the body is exercised.
    Well the sports aren't only for lose weight or have a good body, it's for have a good healthy and have more energy and be more relaxed. Nowdays I practice futbol in the high school and I love so much the futbol and I hope that suddenly I practice swimming ! (:

    for everyone. futboll needed to play 11 players each player is ranked
    the court and play for: central defense and goalkeeper are that front
    teams must score goals the team and the opposing goal to
    Finally the one with the most goals wins, is one of the most played sports throughout the
    world
    in my opinion do you think sport is very good for health because it helps not only be strong and healthy if not that there are many benefits cm combating the health problems, less danger of cardiac arrest and overweight
    this helps the body as well as healthy eating at least make ten minutes of exercise a day would be given the essential and I for one do not do every day but I try that is good and this would be my comment: D

  22. Nowdays I'm practicing Triathlon...
    These is a different and very tiring sport, you need to prepare your body to swim,ride a bike and run.
    It’s a very individual sport because at a competition you can´t receive any help, you must finish the event using your own ability. We train a lot, much more than other sports, and we must eat very healthy to replace the energy we use.
    I started practicing this sport 6 or 7 months ago, and I’ve realized that mi favorite parts are swimming and biking.
    Usually we swim in the sea in distances of 750m or 1500m and then we go biking through beautiful landscapes in distances of 20 or 40 kilometers. We end our competitions running 5 or 10km.
    I have notice that since I practice this sport my life has changed, I feel very healthy, I have done things that I would never imagine, I have met new people and places, and now, I’m more relax.
    Sports make you feel alive...

  23. The sports I like are Yoga and Tennis.
    Yoga is a sport that combines slow and soft movements with deep breading, increasing the flexibility and relaxing the person who perform the movement.
    The yoga can help to develop the muscles before a mare intensive exercise, in hot temperatures yoga can help to clean the body from all the toxins that can be on it.
    Yoga is an ancient technique created by the Indies it combines complex positions with determinated moments to breathe.
    I really like tennis too.
    Tennis is very nice sport, in tennis you have to hit the ball so it crosses the web so the other person can hit it back and it goes on and on and on…
    I don´t want to sound like a hypocrite talking about how sports are so good for you when I don´t do any but they actually are so Practice sports because they make you healthy!!

  24. The sports i love to play are tennis and raquetball.
    In tennis you can play one on one, or with partners. The one who wins more Sets wins.
    In raquetball you play hitting the ball with a wall. In this game you can play in teams or alone.
    these are high-impact sports,and help you stay in shape, and they are very interesting.

    Playing sports is super important for our health. this helps us maintain a healthy lifestyle, away from diseases.it also Helps all the systems of our body. Exercise also helps to your mental health, helps to de-stress.

  25. I would like to practice badminton and ballet. To practice these sports you need to have a good physical condition to do the necessary things like jump to catch the wheel or have enough muscle flexibility to achieve all the steps, so have a strong body is a good beginning. Both sports are different but you can meet new people and relax your mind.
    Ballet is based on muscle flexibility, muscle coordination and musical rhythm. People think that you have to practice this sport since you are baby but that’s not true, it’s for everyone! You just have to try, try, try and you’ll do it excellent! Dancers use leotard and slippers to practice it. To become professional you have to practice it for long time. It is beautiful because it is a classic and elegant sport. Badminton is similar to tennis a big difference is the wheel that is would be the ball in tennis. To practice this sport players have to hit the wheel with the racket and according to the rules they make points. You need comfortable cloth, a wheel, a racket and a big court.
    Exercising our body now a day is a big topic and more than a topic is a business. The media shows just the aesthetic part and everybody follows this stupid concept: “I have to exercise to be pretty because I have to be accepting by the society” but guess what? you are wrong if you are agree with that! It doesn’t matter what people think, do it because you have to be healthier and to take care of your body. The importance of exercise your body is that you can avoid many diseases and besides you will be relaxed, you will be healthier but off course you have to eat fruits, vegetables and reduce the fat; is a balance between exercising and eating well. Do exercise to love you more and to be healthier, you’ll have an excellent life!

  26. Well... I really like sports, but the ones I like are:
    Swimming is a sport that helps us greatly to health and makes our body has movement, and so do not stay sedentary. the game helps you relax and feel better. is good for the muscles to be exercised.
    Swimming is good for people who have certain problems in the body. I swim once a week and I have a problem in my column, the sport has improved me everything is back pain.

    I love dancing:
    dance is very good because you exercise and lose calories. movements made with the body, mainly arms and legs according to the rhythm of music. Several types of dances, that I like bachata and merengue are Salsa. dancing helps you lose weight fast because this sport is one of the more calories you burn. :D
